Packing And Shipping Instructions
Group & label your Paper Photos.
- Group your Paper Photos and place them in a resealable plastic bag. Using a resealable plastic bag helps to protect your memories from moisture during shipping.
- Label your group using an index card or a piece of paper and place it in the resealable plastic bag along with your photos. For example, you could label a group of photos “Jimmy’s 1st Birthday” or “Summer Vacation”, please write legibly. If you label and group your photos, we will be able to organize your digitized photos on the data DVD accordingly.
- When sending 8″ x 10″ photos, please place a piece of cardboard behind them so that they do not bend during shipping.
- If you ordered our Photo Restoration service, please group and label those photos separately. Please mention which level of restoration you would like and any other special instructions like “remove skin blemishes”.
Fill a sturdy box with your originals.
- Use a sturdy box and place your originals in it. Do not use envelopes or gift boxes, they are very flimsy and can damage your originals during shipping.
- Fill the rest of the box with either, bubble wrap, foam, packing “peanuts” or newspaper. This will prevent your originals from sliding around and getting damaged during shipping.
- Print a copy of your order invoice and place it in the box along with your payment in the form of a check or money order.
Please make check or money order payable to: Luis Higuera - Tape the box closed using packing tape. Make sure to use enough packing tape so that the box does not open during shipping.
